Connie and Brad eloped at Elbow Beach on Good Friday having only told their children about their plans to marry! It was an amazing hour with an amazing couple and we were thrilled to be able to share in their special day. Connie and Brad – we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

When organizing the next few weeks blog lineup far too early on a Sunday morning, I noticed that Matthew and Chelsea’s wedding was still in the draft que! Matthew and Chelsea had an intimate destination wedding on a perfect day in October surrounded by their closet family and friends. Matthew is Bermudian but has lived in Rhode Island with Chelsea for the past few years, so though they are familiar with the island, all the planning was meticulously carried out by Chelsea from overseas! It all came together beautifully, and the overwhelming emotion of the day showed just how in love these two are! So, slightly overdue, Matthew and Chelsea…!
Its been about 18 months since we last photographed the Molineuxs…and quite a lot has changed in that time! Katherine has grown into a hilarious little toddler, and now a big sister to baby Elizabeth! We met up with Tim, Sue, Katherine and Elizabeth at their home for a couple shots before heading over to John Smith’s Bay. Thanks again for a lovely morning at the beach 🙂
We’ll admit that as Isla Rose’s “Aunty” Ally and “Uncle” Mark we may have a slight bias toward this little nugget, but thats not going to stop us from gushing over her! Seriously, how perfect is this little girl? She was an absolute joy to photograph…and hopefully she likes the camera, since we’ll probably be photographing her for a while… 😉 We’ll save Sam and Ian the embarrassment of going on and on about what amazing and natural and proud parents they are – we’re sure everyone already knows – but it really is incredible to see how your lives have changed for the better and what absolute joy Isla Rose brings to you both.
Congratulations to our wonderful friends on their beautiful daughter xxx
We met Rebecca and Colm at the Bridal Fair in February; we had our Two and Quarter stall, and they were there for Rebecca’s company, TABS (The Authentic Bermuda Shorts). We exchanged information, and later that week with a slew of fresh business cards in a hat, we pulled Rebecca’s card! Last weekend was the first that worked with both our travel schedules…but when Saturday morning rolled around and the 40 knot winds whipped outside and rain pelted our windows, we were afraid we would have to move the session. Luckily for all, the rain died down in the afternoon and Rebecca and Colm were all for a ‘natural, wind-swept look’. We had a blast traipsing through Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve and the evening’s golden light couldn’t have been better.
Thank you both for an awesome afternoon!
The incredible rain and wind last week had been threatening our shoot on Saturday with Christa and Ryan, but luckily by the time 3pm rolled around there was a break in the storm and we braved the still-not-so-Bermudaful conditions for an engagement session. When we first spoke with Christa, she mentioned a love of historic sites mixed with scenic flora and fauna and of course a little ocean – St. George’s would have been the obvious location even if we both weren’t slightly biased locals 😉
Both Christa and Ryan were such troopers with the weather considering this was not at all what any of us had hoped for! We had a blast driving around the Old town, stopping off wherever looked like a good (i.e. possibly sheltered) spot. Thanks Christa and Ryan for a fantastic afternoon and best wishes for your fall wedding!!
We had the joy of photographing baby Ella this weekend. At barely two weeks old, this little lady was already a complete daddy’s girl – we quickly learned when he was the only thing to calm her. Looking forward to two more mini-session with this sweet girl over the next few months!
