For any photographer, the biggest compliment is probably a returning client. So when Gretta emailed us in early May to schedule an anniversary session we were incredibly flattered – and also totally psyched to get to hang out with these cool cats again! You might remember Gretta & Taurin from there wedding last May – it was awesome. These two have had quite the trying first year of marriage with an unexpected medical diagnosis, yet they remain the ever positive and fun loving couple we got to know last year. Some people are completely meant for each other – Gretta and Taurin are shining examples. We scheduled two hours on a Wednesday evening to go out in our boat and explore some islands in St. George’s Harbour and to have a champagne picnic, complete with the top of their wedding cake!
Thank you both for another amazing shoot – and for the honeymoon advice, we’ll be in touch again soon 🙂

Growing up, Christy vacationed in Bermuda frequently with her family and over the years her became close friends with the hoteliers of Grotto Bay Resort, and so when it was time for Christy to tie the knot there was no better place than her second home in Bermuda! With their families at their side, Christy and Tyler married on the beach and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! It was an absolute pleasure to meet you both and we wish you a lifetime of happiness! Be sure to visit again soon 🙂

Justin, Linnea and little Marco came to Bermuda for a beach vacation in December of last year. (Another post that we thought was scheduled butttt wordpress thought otherwise. Better late than never)! We spent the afternoon exploring Stonehole Bay – Marco was totally fascinated with our pink coral-y sand, what a cutie 🙂
Elizabeth and Derek came to Bermuda from Ontario, Canada to elope at beautiful Grotto Bay. Our first wedding of the season, we met up for a Friday evening ceremony and explored the property with the newlyweds before they taxied off into the sunset! Congratulations to you both!

We met up with Meredith and Tom a few weeks ago at The Reef’s for a maternity type portrait session, but they were a first for us since they’re adopting! Meredith had found the cutest little sandals to use and Tom had some really creative ides on how to illustrate their adoptive process. It was so wonderful to meet you both – best of with your move and becoming amazing new parents. We hope to see you again with a little one 🙂
Since we missed last weeks Wedding Wednesday blog post, we’re splitting the difference today! That, and we honestly couldn’t bear to wait any longer to share Kimberly and Doug’s Cambridge Beach elopement!! These two were so wonderful to work with and everything about their intimate affair was just stunning. Cambridge Beaches provided a perfect setting to perfectly complement their day, and Nadja as always did an amazing job making sure everything went off without a hitch. Thank you both again for an amazing session – we hope you visit again soon!

We had to include this image too – even though its not a sound image technically and normally it would have been edited out, Ally loves the dreamy feel the soft focus provides.
Connie and Brad eloped at Elbow Beach on Good Friday having only told their children about their plans to marry! It was an amazing hour with an amazing couple and we were thrilled to be able to share in their special day. Connie and Brad – we wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

When organizing the next few weeks blog lineup far too early on a Sunday morning, I noticed that Matthew and Chelsea’s wedding was still in the draft que! Matthew and Chelsea had an intimate destination wedding on a perfect day in October surrounded by their closet family and friends. Matthew is Bermudian but has lived in Rhode Island with Chelsea for the past few years, so though they are familiar with the island, all the planning was meticulously carried out by Chelsea from overseas! It all came together beautifully, and the overwhelming emotion of the day showed just how in love these two are! So, slightly overdue, Matthew and Chelsea…!

Its been about 18 months since we last photographed the Molineuxs…and quite a lot has changed in that time! Katherine has grown into a hilarious little toddler, and now a big sister to baby Elizabeth! We met up with Tim, Sue, Katherine and Elizabeth at their home for a couple shots before heading over to John Smith’s Bay. Thanks again for a lovely morning at the beach 🙂
